My name is Mark Barton and I am based in the Swinton area of Salford in Manchester. I graduated with a BSc with honours in Mathematics and Computing from the University of Liverpool in 1992, having studied at the Liverpool Institute of Education (now Hope University). I finished my teaching qualification in 1994 at the University of Wolverhampton. I have taught mathematics at GCSE and A-level, as well as the mathematics components of GNVQ courses. I also taught Open College mathematics to adults returning to education, and have set, marked and moderated open college examinations. I have also taught remedial mathematics for students struggling with the subject.
I am a dedicated, enthusiastic and approachable tutor. Please contact me if you are thinking of getting any extra help with your maths, whatever your level.
